A degree, Finally!
Well, I am really not one to brag about my accomplishments, but I have to tell the world that I have finally obtained a degree! I just received my Associate's degree in Behavioral Health/Human Services with a certificate in Addiction Studies from CCP. All of my friends and family know that I have been working on this darn thing for the past five years! Now on to my Bachelor's - thanks to Erin who turned me on to Bellevue University I should be able to accomplish that in 15 months, they don't let you mess around! I can't wait!! I will be starting in February (loan money willing!)

Congratulations Kristy!! I'm thinking about going back to school as well!!
Congrats!! You must feel so good to have finally gotten it! Good luck on going to the next step.
You go girl! (wait, do people still say that? or is that like passe? ...like "gag me with a spoon" - it was in, but now it's out?
Anyway, I am proud of you, though I think I am deserving of some of the praise, afterall, I do recall working feverishly on your assignments!! Hee hee!! Just kidding, of course, I know you put in a lot of blood, sweat, and tears - glad you did it!
No, there is a bit of truth to that, I must admit. There was that one paper (the "religious" one) for my Environmental Science class that I did appreciate your few pages of input (and all of the proofreading you did!). Remember how mad you were when I got a "B" on it and we thought maybe the teacher was atheist! (BTW, she did re-grade it to an "A" after I stated my case) I think John can say the same for the paper that I did on the Pledge of Allegiance. That's one thing - I could ace any test with hardly any studying but when it came to the papers - that was hard work!
yeah! congratulations kristy!!
Hey, what about the presentation I put together for you on Energy. I was proud of that one. That was good.
You came into my office at like 1 in the afternoon saying that you had to give a presentation at school at like 5pm and had NOTHING. Wait, I think you actually had a crinkled piece of construction paper that you were going to draw on or something? Plus you had a meeting for work to go to, so I promptly jumped on the assignment and pushed out a powerpoint presentation for you.
Glad you ended up with an A. I couldn't have lived with myself if I had earned you a B!
I have faught with Sylvia's professors as well to get her an A on assignments that I had "helped" her with. I remember that she got a "B" on a resume assignment that I did for her. I was all over that professor asking him about his credentials, I was like, listen, I'm in HR and my husband is a professional recruiter - I think I know what a decent resume looks like. Oh boy - I was on fire with that one. He did end up changing her grade though...
Oh, yeah I forgot about that one! I must have had a really tough time that semester because both of those assignments were for the same professor. That was right when I started my "planner/buyer" gig!
