Well we are making progress with our home renovation! The paneling was been torn down and the one wall leading from the dining into the kitchen has been knocked down. Thankfully John's dad was able to come by and help out! Here are a few pics.
I will post more - these were just ones that John had snapped himself, I tried to leave the house Saturday and Sunday while he was working (I didn't want to get in the "way"!)

WOw - I'm excited to see that panel gone - the rest of your house is so nice, that panel just never sat well with me!
Do you want to join the "I hate dust support group" - I'm starting one - at least until our basement is finished - what a mess all the drywalling is!!! YUCK!

looking good! i'm a little confused...where are you breaking through to go down to the basement? i'm looking forward to seeing the progress you make!
We are re-routing the basement steps from the kitchen to the dining, that way we will have a "U" shaped kitchen instead of a walk-through.
